Billionaire Aliko Dangote Eyes Massive Investment Push in Tanzania 

Aliko Dangote, president and CEO of Dangote Industries Limited, has met with the president of the United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan, to discuss a massive expansion of the conglomerate’s investments in the East African nation.

During high-level discussions held at the State House in Dar es Salaam, the two leaders mapped out strategic opportunities designed to accelerate Tanzania’s industrialisation, according to a statement from the company.

The talks heavily focused on injecting capital and expertise into three critical sectors: transport infrastructure, domestic fertiliser production and energy, it said. 

DIL said the proposed investments are driven by a shared commitment to creating sustainable jobs and strengthening regional economic integration.
