BUA Foods Regains Top Valuation Spot as MTN Shares Plunge
BUA Foods has returned as the most valuable company on the Nigerian Exchange Limited, as MTN Nigeria’s shares fell by the daily maximum of 10 percent on Monday.
The market capitalisation of the telecommunications company fell from N17.43 trillion on Friday to N15.68 trillion, making it the third most valuable stock. With its valuation at N16.25 trillion, Dangote Cement rose from fourth to second position.
BUA Group’s subsidiary traded flat on Monday, with its market value closing at N16.9 trillion.
