NNPC’s Annual Profit Rises as Revenue Tops N60trn

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) has reported a profit after tax of N5.76 trillion for 2025, up from N5.4 trillion in the previous year.

Its revenue jumped to N60.52 trillion from N45.1 trillion in 2024, according to data released on Thursday.

The national oil company posted losses of N161 billion and N7 billion in January and March respectively.

Crude oil and condensate production averaged 1.54 million barrels per day, while natural gas output stood at 6.91 billion standard cubic feet per day.

The NNPC said it made statutory payments amounting to N14.71 trillion last year.
