Dangote Cement Comes Third in Valuation Ahead of BUA Foods, Closes On MTN

Dangote Cement overtook BUA Foods as the third-most valuable company on the Nigerian stock exchange on Friday as its shares rose 4.58 percent, even as it closed on MTN Nigeria Communications.

Africa’s largest cement producer saw its market capitalisation jump to N8.35 trillion from N7.98 trillion on Thursday, compared to BUA Foods’ N8.26 trillion and MTN’s N8.39 trillion.

With N8.68 trillion, Airtel Africa has the highest valuation of any company listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
