BOC Gases Nigeria’s profit rises by 35%

BOC Gases Nigeria Plc has reported an increase of 35.26 percent in its profit after tax for the 2020 financial year, compared to the previous year.

The company said its after-tax profit rose to N292.11 million last year from N215.97 million in 2019.

Its profit before tax increased by 28.91 percent to N414.50 million from N321.54 million, according to its financial statements released on Tuesday.

Its revenue rose to N3.17 billion in 2020 from N3.07 billion in the previous year.

The company engages in the manufacture of industrial and medical gases as well as the sale of special gases, welding and medical equipment.
