Dangote Cement Director Shankar Sells Shares Worth N71bn
A non-executive director and shareholder of Dangote Cement Plc, Viswanathan Shankar, has sold 94,545,073 units of the company’s shares, valued at N71.09 billion.
The transaction was executed through his investment vehicle, GW Grey PTE Ltd, at an average price of N751.91 per share between 10 and 18 March, according to a disclosure filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Wednesday.
As of 31 December 2025, Shankar held 128,560,764 units of Dangote Cement shares, making him the director with the second-largest stake in the company, behind Douraid Zaghouani, whose Investment Corporation of Dubai owned 243,540,000 units.
