Wema Bank’s annual profit more than doubles to N88.83bn

Wema Bank posted a profit after tax of N88.83 billion last year, up from N35.99 billion in 2023.

Its customer deposits rose to N2.53 trillion as of December from N1.86 trillion a year earlier, while loans and advances increased to N1.2 trillion from N801.1 billion, according to its unaudited financial statements released on Thursday.
