Odunsi bows out after seven years on UAC board

UAC of Nigeria Plc (UAC), a conglomerate in the food, beverage, real estate, and paint industries, has announced the retirement of Bolaji Odunsi, an independent non-executive director from the company, effective 31 March 2025.
Odunsi joined the board of directors seven years ago and has been an invaluable member of the board since then, contributing significantly to the growth and strategic direction of the company, according to a filing with the Nigerian Exchange Limited.

His recent contribution was chairing the UAC’s Board Risk Management Committee where he provided valuable oversight and contributed to improvement in operating performance and key financial metrics.
The board thanked Odunsi for his exemplary service over the past six years.
“His contributions have left an enduring impact on UAC, and he will be greatly missed,” the statement read.
“The Board wishes Mr. Odunsi the very best in his future endeavors and extends its sincere appreciation for his dedication and service to UAC.”
