Dangote Sugar Joins Trillion-Naira Valuation Club as Shares Rise
Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc is the latest listed company to reach a market capitalisation of N1 trillion on the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
The number of companies with a trillion-naira valuation rose to 26 on Monday, with MTN Nigeria and BUA Foods leading the pack. The telecommunication company regained its crown as the top large-cap on Friday just over six months after losing it to the food manufacturer.
With its share price rising by 2.07 percent to N83.70, the sugar refinery saw its market cap increased to N1.02 trillion from N996.04 billion on Friday.
