Access Bank’s Fintech Hydrogen Triples Half-Year Profit

Hydrogen Payment Services Company Limited, the fintech arm of Access Bank, reported a 306% jump in half-year profit.

Its profit surged to N966 million from N238 million in the first half of 2024, according to the lender’s latest financial statements.

The fintech “has started breaking grounds in the industry with the seamless and reliable solutions it offers to businesses in Nigeria”, it said.

“Hydrogen’s vision is to build Africa’s most powerful business services network. Hydrogen offers a wide range of products and services, including InstantPay, Payment gateway, POS, card, and switch, which have been well-received by customers and the industry as a whole,” it added.
