Ecobank’s Profit Rises to $493m While Loans Fall

Pan-African lender Ecobank posted a profit after tax of $493.6 million last year, up 21 percent compared to 2023.

Loans and advances to customers fell 6% to $9.9 billion, while deposits from customers increased 2% to $20.4 billion, according to its earnings report released on Thursday.
