Aradel gets new board member as Thierry Georger resigns
The board of Aradel Holdings Plc says it has accepted the notification of the resignation of Thierry Georger effective December 31, 2024.
At its meeting on Thursday, the board approved the nomination of Kerin Jayne Gunter by Petrolin Ocean Limited, for appointment in replacement of Georger effective January 2, 2025, subject to ratification at the annual general meeting of the company.
According to a statement, Gunter is an accomplished Director and commercial lawyer with over 14 years of experience in multinational leadership, corporate governance, and strategic business growth. She holds an LLB degree from the University of South Africa, with specializations in commercial and corporate law, international trade, and banking law.
“Ms. Gunter has in-depth knowledge of corporate governance and international regulatory compliance, corporate structuring and mergers and acquisitions, and has successfully guided boards and organizations across industries, including the oil and gas sector, ensuring
compliance with international standards, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and long-term value creation,” it said.
