Nigerian stocks tumble to two-month low with N1.11trn loss

Nigerian stocks lost N1.11 trillion in market value on Friday, with the benchmark index falling below the 100,000 mark.

The market capitalisation of the Nigerian Exchange Limited plunged to N55.60 trillion, the lowest since May 27, from N56.71 trillion on Thursday.

The All-Share Index fell to 98,201.49 basis points from 100,156.96 bps as 25 equities posted price declines, with Eterna and Dangote Cement emerging as the two biggest losers.
