Transcorp Hotels’ half-year profit nearly triples

Transcorp Hotels Plc posted a 188% increase in its profit before tax for the first half of this year compared to the same period of 2023.

The company’s pretax profit jumped to N10.47 billion from N3.64 billion, according to its earnings report released on Tuesday.

Its revenue rose to N29.72 billion from N18.46 billion.
