Naira crosses 1,000/$ on official market for first time
The Nigerian currency weakened to as low as N1,097.50 per dollar on Wednesday on the official foreign exchange market, data from FMDQ Group show.
The naira however closed at 874.71/$, down from 798.19/$ the previous day, with a market turnover of $113.52 million.
