Nigeria’s inflation jumps to 26.72% in September

The inflation rate in Nigeria quickened to 26.72 percent in September from 25.80 percent in the previous month, according to new data from the National Bureau of Statistics.

The country has seen inflation rise for nine consecutive months, fuelled by the fallout from the removal of petrol subsidy and naira devaluation.
