C & I Leasing appoints new GMD/CEO, others

C & I Leasing Plc has appointed Mr Ugoji Lenin Ugoji as its new group managing director/chief executive officer following the retirement of Mr Andrew Otike-Odibi.

The company, in a notice to the Nigerian Exchange Limited, its shareholders and the investing public, also announced the appointments of Mr Alexander Mbakogu and Mr Okechukwu Nnake as the new chief operating officer/group deputy MD and chief finance officer.

It said Ugoji, who was previously appointed as the COO, joined C & I Leasing with over 20 years’ experience in commercial/investment banking, leasing and asset management.

, is now the Group Managing Director/CEO effective 1st January, 2022 subject to regulatory approvals.

According to the company, Mbakogu, the previous CFO of the company, has held several positions in C & I Leasing Plc from 1998.

It described Nnake as an executive with over 15 years strategic business leadership experience in multinational organisations.
