Guinness Nigeria’s Quarterly Profit Jumps 48% as Finance Costs Tumble

Guinness Nigeria has reported a profit after tax of N10.39 billion for the first quarter of this year, up from N7.03 billion a year earlier.

The Lagos-listed brewer saw its revenue rise to N122.77 billion from N118.34 billion in the same period of 2025, according to its earnings report released on Tuesday.

“The performance reflects the company’s continued resilience and disciplined execution in a challenging operating environment,” it said in a release.

Net finance costs reduced to N1.43 billion from N7.72 billion, reflecting “improved balance sheet efficiency and reduced financing costs”, according to the company.
