PZ Cussons Nigeria Swings to Half-Year Profit, on Track to Sell Assets Worth N1bn
PZ Cussons Nigeria reported a profit before tax of N37.91 billion for the six months ended 30 November, compared with a loss of N5.52 billion a year earlier.
The company’s revenue surged to N127.9 billion from N96.46 billion, according to its latest earnings report released on Tuesday.
At the close of the 2025 financial year in May, the management committed to a plan to sell some non-core depot facilities valued at N1.013 billion across the country, it said.
“The sales are expected to be concluded within the next 12 months,” the company said.
On 11 December, the company’s parent PZ Cussons Plc, UK announced its decision to retain their African businesses which includes Nigeria.
It has chosen instead to strengthen its operations in Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya, citing improving economic conditions and powerful long-term demographic trends across the continent, according to the report.
