Airtel Africa Becomes First Nigeria-Listed Firm to Cross N20trn Market Cap

Airtel Africa has become the first company listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) to surpass a N20 trillion market capitalisation, following a 10 percent rise in its share price on Wednesday.

Analysis of NGX data by MarketReporters showed that the company’s share price rose to N5,801.4, pushing its market value to N21.8 trillion from N19.8 trillion on Tuesday.

The telecommunications giant added N2 trillion to its market capitalisation in a single day.
