Dangote Cement Loses Crown as Most Valuable Stock, Drops to Fourth Place

Dangote Cement has lost its position as the most valuable stock on the Nigerian Exchange Limited after its shares fell by the daily maximum of 10% on Wednesday.

The decline pushed the cement maker’s market capitalisation down to N16.25 trillion from N18.05 trillion, dropping it to fourth place among the mega-cap stocks.

MTN Nigeria Communications now leads with a market cap of N17.43 trillion, followed by BUA Foods at N16.9 trillion and Airtel Africa at N16.38 trillion.
