Transcorp Hotels gets new CEO as Dupe Olusola bows out
Transcorp Hotels Plc announced on Monday the appointment of Uzo Oshogwe as the MD/CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc, effective January 1, 2025.
Oshogwe, who is currently the MD/CEO of Afriland Properties Ltd, will replace Dupe Olusola, who took the helm of Transcorp Hotels on March 25, 2020.
“Uzo Oshogwe’s exceptional leadership skills and extensive experience in driving organizational growth make her the right person to continue building on Dupe Olusola’s remarkable achievements at Transcorp Hotels Plc. Her expertise aligns perfectly with our vision to create value and deliver excellence in the hospitality industry,” Emmanuel Nnorom, chairman of Transcorp Hotels, said in a statement.
With over 30 years of professional experience, she has held leadership positions at the United Bank for Africa Plc and Accenture UK, the company said.
She holds a BSc. in Chemistry from Ambrose Alli University, Edo State, an MSc in Information Systems Design from the University of Westminster, London and a professional certificate in Real Estate Management from Harvard Business School, USA.
