Nigeria offers $500m domestic dollar bond at 9.75% 

The federal government has issued the series one of its first domestic dollar bond sale.

“On behalf of the Nigerian government, we are offering for subscription the US$500m FGN Dollar Bond at 9.75% p.a. for a tenor of five years,” the Debt Management Office said on Monday.

The offer will close on August 30, with the settlement data being September 6. 

It is open to Nigerians in and outside the country and qualified institutional investors.
