BUA Foods’ profit shrugs off N54.67bn FX loss in H1

BUA Foods reported a profit before tax of N137.19 billion in the first half of this year, up from N109.38 billion in the same period of 2023.

The company’s earnings rose despite a foreign exchange loss of N54.67 billion from zero as its revenue more than doubled to N672.39 billion, according to its unaudited financial statements published on Tuesday.
