NNPC, Daewoo sign $740.67m deal for Kaduna refinery repair

Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited, a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, has signed a deal with Daewoo E&C Nigeria Limited for the repair of the Kaduna refinery.

The company said on Thursday that the project would be executed in three work packages as a maintenance services contract by Daewoo E&C Nigeria at an estimated maximum cost ceiling of $740,669,600 with a duration of 21 months.

“This project was framed after extensive engagement with Daewoo on the quick-fix strategy to repair and re-stream KRPC and operate it on a sustainable basis at a minimum capacity utilisation of 60 percent,” KRPC said.
