Access Bank reports 31% increase in Q3 profit

Access Bank Plc has reported a profit before tax of N49.50 billion for the third quarter of this year, up 30.85 percent compared to the same period last year.

The lender, in its financial statements released on Saturday, said its net interest income rose to N83.03 billion from N67.66 billion in Q3 2021.

Deposit customers increased by 17.84 percent to N8.19 trillion at the end of September while loans and advances to customers grew by 11.06 percent to N4.62 trillion.
