BUA Cement posts 32% increase in Q1 profit

BUA Cement Plc has reported a profit before tax of N24.93 billion for the second quarter of the 2021 financial year, up 32.04 percent from N18.88 billion in the same period of 2020.

Its profit after tax rose to N21.03 billion in the three months ended June 30, 2021 from N14.87 billion in Q2 2020, according to its unaudited financial statements.

The cement maker saw its revenue increase to N63.09 billion from N47.29 billion.
