UAC posts N267.47m quarterly profit as revenue rises

UAC of Nigeria Plc has posted a profit before tax of N267.47 million for the second quarter of the 2021 financial year, compared with a loss before tax of N264.11 million in the same period a year earlier.

The company reported a profit after tax of N94.06 million, compared to a loss after tax of N683.89 million, its unaudited financial statements obtained from the Nigerian Exchange Limited showed.

Its revenue increased to N24.48 billion in Q2 2021 from N17.08 billion in the same period of 2020.
