Ex-Wema Bank CEO, seasoned lawyer join Chams’ board

Chams Plc, an identity management and identity transaction systems provider, has announced the appointment of two new directors to its board.

The company said in a statement that the board had approved the appointment Mr Olusegun Oloketuyi and Mrs Olamojiba Bakare as Non-Executive Directors effective Feb. 18, 2021, subject to the ratification of the Annual General Meeting.

Oloketuyi, a seasoned banker and accountant, served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Wema Bank Plc.

According to the statement, Bakare is a seasoned international Lawyer, having qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales from Inns of Court School of Law.

Chams also informed the investing public of the passing of its Non-Executive Director, Prof. Oyewusi Ibidapo-Obe.

It said Ibidapo-Obe joined the company as a director on Sept. 29, 2015, and made major contributions to the company during his time on the board.
