Nigeria’s electricity regulator chair, Momoh, bows out
The outgoing Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, Prof. James Momoh, has handed over the leadership of the commission to his deputy, Mr Sanusi Garba.
The handover ceremony, which took place on Thursday in Abuja, was witnessed by commissioners of the commission.
Sanusi, who was the vice-chairman of the commission until his new appointment, thanked Momoh for his contributions to the development of the commission and the power sector in general, and wished him well.
Momoh, on his part, pledged his continuous support to the commission and thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for the opportunity to serve the country.
