Investment firm VFD sees quarterly earnings jump to N3bn

VFD Group, a Lagos-based proprietary investment company, reported a surge in its profit before tax to N3.04 billion in the first quarter of this year.

Its earnings jumped from a low of N220.28 million in the same period of 2023 as its investment and similar income more than doubled to N12.66 billion from N4.96 billion, according to its financial statements.

The company grew its shareholder funds to N40.53 billion at the end of March from N32.53 billion in December.
